Mark Spilman
President and Chief Executive Officer
 Mark Spilman founded VantaNet in 2000 before launching ConnectNet Solutions. He brings more than 10 years of network-management experience to his role as president and chief executive officer. Before founding ConnectNet, Spilman was a consultant with Eisner Computer and S&J Supply, and served as general manager at EMKAY International. As an independent consultant and contractor, Spilman has built computer and telephony networks for dozens of small and mid-sized companies and organizations. Spilman has technical certifications including Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate and Juniper IAFW.
Jim O’Connell
Vice President Sales and Marketing
 Jim O’Connell has been active in the data processing, information management and information technology sectors for more than 25 years, holding a variety of executive, sales and marketing positions. O’Connell has been associated with both start-up and significant corporations such as IBM, ITT, Automatech Graphics, Mitsubishi International, Bowne, Prodigy, Decker Communications, Cabletron, Enterasys, Port and Targus. O’Connell received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University School of Business, where he majored in accounting. O’Connell is a retired United States Army captain, having served in an armored division.
Isser Rubelow
Senior Engineer
Isser Rubelow brings ConnectNet’s clients years of hands-on network engineering experience including network design and lower-tier support of corporate networks. Rubelow is an experienced LAN administrator who previously provided computer network and telephone-system support for companies such as Leo Schachter Diamonds, a global organization headquartered in New York City, and Communication Data & Security Inc. in Spring Valley, N.Y. Rubelow has a number of technical certifications, including Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate and Juniper IAFW. Rubelow is also an expert on the fast-growing use of the Internet to carry telephone calls, having been a network engineer with Net2Phone Inc., a VoIP provider in Newark, N.J.
Michael Christiano
Network Engineer
Michael Christiano is an experienced systems administrator who has supported data, telephony and VPN networks. Christiano has helped design and support wired and wireless LANs. He also brings experience across a wide range of desktop operating systems, having supported Windows, Linux and Mac. Before joining ConnectNet Christiano was a system administrator with VersaMed Inc. in Pearl River, N.Y., and provided IT support with LRG Marketing Communications, Inc. in Nyack, N.Y.
Leah Schwimmer
Office Manager
Leah Schwimmer brings ConnectNet Solutions 11 years of experience as a credit manager, office manager and project manager with a leading international diamond company in Manhattan’s Diamond District. In this position, Schwimmer had daily dealings with employees in offices in Belgium, Israel and Dallas as well as a wide range of domestic customers. Schwimmer, an expert bookkeeper and administrator, is in charge of all accounts payable and receivables at ConnectNet Solutions.
Shevi Gross
Graphic-Design Director, Administrative Assistant
Shevi Gross has been a computer-graphic designer and teacher since 2002 and her deep knowledge of graphic arts software brings ConnectNet Solutions a new field of services to offer our clients. Gross is experienced with a wide range of applications including Quark Express, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
